Share Those Summertime Memories!

Oh, how time flies by. The summer season is nearing its end and we’re already feeling nostalgic. Feeling the same way? Then now is the perfect opportunity to share some of those moments on social media. Summertime memories are fresh in our minds and your followers are itching to see what you’ve been up to this season, so don’t leave them hanging!

We know your practice probably had adjusted summer hours, and who wouldn’t? With everyone having that desire to travel, it’s understandable. Now you’re seeing photos from friends, family, and your fans from all of their adventures during the season. Well, it’s your turn to join the fun and show what you’ve been up to.

Photos and visual content are killing it on social media – that’s a fact. Not only do photos make up most of the content on these platforms but they also generate the most engagement.  This means  that people (your fans) want to see more variety and would rather engage with something visual rather than walls of text. Those “in the moment” photos add personality and give your online presence a unique spin, so it’s only natural to take advantage of that.

You don’t need to showcase your whole life but it’s important for your fans to see you as someone they can connect with, and something as simple as a summertime photo can easily do just that. Believe it or not, not everyone wants to see all  dental content all the time. We know, it’s hard to understand, but this is for the best. Trust us. Yes, people want to know that you’re a great dentist or orthodontist, but they also want to know that you’re a person whose company they can enjoy. It makes following through with appointments that much easier.   

So, went on a nice fishing trip? Share it. Headed overseas? Definitely share that. It doesn’t take much show your personality online, and the best part is that the benefits of doing so are enormous, so don’t hide away all of those fun moments.
